in the Art and Craft of Filmmaking David Wiesehan was formally educated in all aspects of film and video production. After attending the prestigious University of Southern California Film School for two years, he graduated from University of California at San Diego with a BA degree in Communications/Visual Arts. After creating several 16mm short films at USC School of Cinematography, David transferred as a Junior to UCSD and embarked on the ambitious undertaking of creating a student feature film. This 16mm black & white film, entitled "The Groundskeeper," went on to receive accolade as a runner-up nomination for BEST STUDENT FILM in the Southwest Regional competition of the Student Academy Awards presented by the ACADEMY OF MOTION PICTURE ARTS AND SCIENCES.
While attending college, David freelanced on numerous theatrical stage and feature film sets including the Outdoor Summer Shakespeare Festival at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre. He also experienced his first Broadcast Television Production job opportunity as a cameraman for a weekly national broadcast. This EMMY AWARD WINNING program, with a viewing audience of over 2 million, was produced and presented by New York Times Best Selling Author and Fortune 500 motivational speaker Terry Cole-Whittaker. It was this job opportunity that paved the way to David's first professional video production presentations.
David has been engaged in producing video presentations for the corporate world for the past 25 years. His gifted production talents combine technical skill with creative ability utilizing the latest digital technology to produce videos with sensational and engaging content. His well honed marketing skills create captivating and persuasive video presentations for the corporate world. Some of these videos have been used by companies for national and international broadcast advertisement of their products on television, as well as training videos and also as background to create a specific atmosphere and content support in business establishments and seminars with live audiences in the thousands.
